About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Dynamics Developer to join a major public-sector organisation undertaking significant digital transformation programs.

The organisation is modernising its technology environment through large-scale initiatives focused on replacing legacy systems, improving business capabilities and delivering contemporary, customer-focused digital services.

As part of the Enterprise Business Platforms team, you will contribute to the delivery and enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across complex enterprise environments.

About the Role

As a Dynamics Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating and supporting Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Working closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, project managers and technical teams, you will translate requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom Dynamics 365 components, including plugins, workflows, custom APIs and extensions using C#, JavaScript and .NET.
  • Design and implement technical solutions aligned with business and architectural requirements.
  • Customise Dynamics 365 interfaces, forms, views, dashboards and Model-Driven Apps.
  • Develop integrations between Dynamics 365, Power Platform and external systems using APIs, web services, Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Support data migration activities and maintain data integrity across systems.
  • Analyse and optimise application and system performance.
  • Conduct development testing, debugging and issue resolution in collaboration with testers and analysts.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs and coding standards.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Implement platform updates, patches and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities, development practices and emerging technologies.

About You

You will be an experienced Dynamics Developer with a strong background delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.

You will bring:

  • Strong experience with C#, JavaScript, .NET and Dynamics 365 custom development.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations involving multiple integrations, security requirements and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience designing solutions addressing scalability, performance, security and supportability requirements.
  • Strong technical skills across Dynamics 365 Plugins, Custom APIs and Dataverse Web API.
  • Experience with Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 and Dataverse security, including security roles, business units and data access controls.
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 and Power Platform with external systems using APIs, web services and supported integration patterns.
  • Experience with source control, solution management, testing and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Highly Desirable

  • Enterprise-grade Power Pages development experience, including authentication, authorisation, web roles, Liquid templates and Dataverse integration.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).
  • Dynamics 365 or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
