Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join them as an Electrical Capability Coordinator supporting technical capability, training and competency across electrical, ITS&E and civil electrical disciplines.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical professional looking to step into a training, coaching and technical capability-focused role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical, ITS&E and civil electrical training and competency activities.
- Maintain training plans, competency records, learning resources and assessment evidence.
- Support delivery and continuous improvement of civil electrical training.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to apprentices, trainees, electrical workers, supervisors and project managers.
- Contribute to Electrical Training Centre training pathways, technical guidance and succession planning.
About You
Mandatory:
- Electrical Mechanic with a current Queensland Electrical Work Licence.
- C Class driver's licence
Highly regarded:
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
- Experience delivering electrical safety training.
- Experience in civil construction, electrical construction, maintenance or ITS.
- Experience with electrical safety/quality audits or incident investigations.
- WHS, auditing or investigation qualifications/experience.
