Paxus is partnering with a leading consultancy to support a major Australian Government agency as it undertakes a significant review of its IT operating model.
This program will assess how technology change is delivered today, across people, processes, policies, and platforms, to identify constraints and reposition the organisation for future strategic and global technology shifts.
The objective is to build a clearer understanding of the current-state environment and define pathways that enable more effective, aligned, and responsive technology change.
Contract Details
- Initial Term: 1 May 2026 – 30 June 2026 (2 months)
- Extensions: Up to 3 × 2‑month terms
- Locations: QLD, ACT, SA
- Security Clearance: Baseline (minimum)
This spans four key roles:
Senior Enterprise Architect & Enterprise Architect
These roles will assess the agency’s current technology ecosystem, identify structural and architectural gaps, and recommend modern, scalable technologies and patterns. You will help shape the future-state architecture and provide insights that guide strategic technology decisions.
Key focus areas:
- Current-state technology landscape review
- Identification of architectural issues and constraints
- Recommendations for modernisation and alignment to strategic priorities
- Contribution to future-state architecture options and roadmaps
Senior Business Architect & Business Architect
These roles will analyse existing business functions, processes, and operating models to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. You will propose business architecture solutions that strengthen alignment between technology, people, and organisational priorities.
Key focus areas:
- Review of business functions and processes
- Identification of operational gaps and pain points
- Development of business architecture insights and recommendations
- Support for future-state business model design
