Executive Assistant | Cleveland/ Redland Bay | Contract Opportunity
We are currently partnering with a large Queensland local government organisation seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a senior leadership office within a busy infrastructure and operations environment.
This role will provide high level administrative and operational support to a General Manager, ensuring the smooth coordination of executive activities, departmental reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with senior leaders and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring priorities are managed effectively and information flows efficiently across the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide confidential executive support including diary management, meeting coordination and correspondence preparation
- Prepare agendas, reports, minutes and executive documentation
- Coordinate departmental reporting including operational, financial and compliance information
- Act as a key liaison between the General Manager and internal stakeholders
- Monitor correspondence, council resolutions and key deliverables to ensure timely responses
- Support research, analysis and preparation of briefing materials for leadership decision making
- Maintain accurate corporate records and documentation
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience providing high level executive or senior administrative support
- Strong written communication skills with experience drafting reports and correspondence
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across complex environments
- High level proficiency across Microsoft Office and corporate systems
- Experience within local government or public sector environments will be highly regarded
