Executive Assistant | Financial Services | 12 Month Contract | Brisbane CBD + WFH
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high level support to a senior leadership team operating at the portfolio level of a large and complex financial services organisation. This is an initial 12 month contingent contract, based in Brisbane with flexibility to work from home, supporting one of Australia’s most significant transformation programs.
This role goes beyond standard executive support. Alongside managing diaries, preparing papers, coordinating meetings and handling correspondence, you will also take on responsibilities that directly enable decision making and delivery at scale. These include raising purchase orders, approving contractor timesheets and assisting with invoicing. You will act as a trusted partner to executives who are accountable for steering a major portfolio of initiatives within a nationally significant merger.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide proactive support to senior executives with portfolio wide accountabilities
• Manage complex diaries, meetings and documentation for executive and board level stakeholders
• Raise purchase orders, assist with invoicing and approve contractor timesheets
• Coordinate across multiple projects and streams within the portfolio to keep priorities aligned
• Prepare high quality documents, reports and communications for senior stakeholders
• Balance office presence in Brisbane CBD (George Street) with flexible WFH
What We Are Looking For
• Proven EA experience supporting senior leaders at the portfolio or enterprise level in large and complex organisations
• Strong background in financial services such as superannuation, insurance or banking
• Confidence with financial and administrative processes including purchase orders, invoicing and approvals
• Highly organised, discreet and solutions focused with the ability to anticipate needs in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
