About the Role
You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting both statutory and management reporting requirements.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, you’ll help drive efficient financial operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver accurate and timely financial and statutory reports
- Analyse financial data, reconciliations, and variances
- Provide insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Month-End & Accounting
- Perform month-end activities including journals, accruals, and adjustments
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
- Support audit and taxation processes
Systems & Process Improvement
- Maintain financial systems including banking and cash forecasting tools
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems
- Identify and support opportunities for process and system improvement
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with internal teams to deliver financial insights and support
- Liaise with external service providers to resolve financial issues
- Support reporting requirements and key deliverables
Operational Support
- Manage corporate accounts and payments
- Provide day-to-day financial advice to stakeholders
- Contribute to finance projects and improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting processes
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
- Solid understanding of month-end processes, journals, and financial controls
- Experience working in complex or large-scale organisations is highly regarded
