We're seeking an experienced Fleet Asset Officer to join a large government organisation based in South Brisbane.
This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional with fleet industry experience to manage the end-to-end procurement, replacement and disposal of a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant equipment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage fleet procurement and replacement projects
- Develop technical specifications and tender documentation
- Coordinate vehicle and plant handovers, fit-outs and disposals
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Maintain fleet records, reporting and compliance
- Support continuous improvement across fleet operations
About you:
- Experience managing fleet procurement or fleet replacement programs
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and contract management
- Experience with heavy vehicles and plant assets is highly regarded
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Procurement or Project Management are advantageous
- HR Licence (or ability to obtain) and White Card required
