SEEKING MULTIPLE SENIOR HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELLBEING ADVISORS

We’re seeking experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisors to join a dynamic team supporting key safety initiatives across a large and diverse organisation. This is a hands on advisory role where you’ll provide expert support, drive WHS outcomes, and help strengthen safety and wellbeing culture across a variety of operational environments.

You’ll work closely with leaders and staff, delivering practical, risk-based advice, coordinating audits and investigations, and supporting the implementation of safety management systems and wellbeing programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert advice on WHS legislation, risk management, incident prevention and safety compliance.
  • Lead and support investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Conduct internal audits and assist in continuous improvement of WHS frameworks and processes.
  • Deliver training, toolbox talks, and capability-building sessions for leaders and teams.
  • Contribute to safety reporting, trend analysis and data-driven improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with the People & Culture team to promote health, safety and wellbeing strategies.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’ll be a confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation. You’ll be proactive, solutions focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.

  • Tertiary qualification (Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Work Health & Safety or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading investigations (ICAM or equivalent).
  • Proven experience conducting WHS audits and implementing improvement initiatives.
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or Project Management (highly regarded).
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and Construction White Card.
