About the Role
As the ICT Procurement & Contracts Manager, you will provide end-to-end procurement and contract management services across a diverse ICT portfolio. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to support the delivery of complex, high-value digital initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end ICT procurement activities, from sourcing strategy through to contract execution
- Developing and managing ICT contracts (including QITC or equivalent frameworks)
- Managing tender processes, including documentation, market engagement, evaluation, and negotiation
- Monitoring supplier performance, contract compliance, and renewals
- Providing strategic procurement advice to senior stakeholders and project teams
- Preparing briefings, reports, and procurement documentation
- Maintaining robust audit trails, probity, and governance standards
- Supporting whole-of-government procurement initiatives and panels
- Mentoring and developing procurement and contract management staff
- Driving continuous improvement across procurement practices and processes
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in ICT procurement and contract management within large, complex environments
- Proven capability delivering end-to-end sourcing and tendering processes
- Experience with government procurement frameworks, governance, and probity
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier performance and contract lifecycles
- Ability to produce high-quality reports, briefings, and procurement documentation
- Experience working with enterprise ICT vendors and complex service environments
Highly Regarded
- Experience in state or federal government environments
- Familiarity with whole-of-government contracts and procurement panels
- Procurement certification (or working towards)
- Experience mentoring or leading procurement teams
