ICT Project Manager – Transition & Operational Support

Are you an experienced ICT Project Manager with a strong background in public sector delivery and stakeholder engagement? We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead the transition of ICT services from an internal model to a shared services arrangement with another government department.
This role is critical to ensuring a smooth, secure, and value-driven transition, while also providing technical and managerial support to an in-house ICT team of four staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with agency goals.
- Lead the transition of ICT services to a shared services provider, ensuring continuity, value for money, and fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Provide strategic and technical advice to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand and deliver on technology needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external teams.
- Manage contracts, service agreements, and vendor relationships.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure IT systems and data security, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee day-to-day ICT operations, including staff, budgets, and resources.
