About the Role

As an Identity Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our Identity and Access Management team, responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising IAM solutions tailored to our internal workforce within a cloud environment. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure our systems are secure, compliant, and user-friendly, demonstrating a positive attitude towards inclusivity and disability. This hybrid role offers flexible working arrangements, subject to negotiation, with a focus on delivering impactful technology solutions that make a difference.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based IAM platforms such as Okta, Saviynt, or Ping Identity

• Expertise in Single Sign-On, Conditional Access Policies, and Application Registration

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently manage priorities effectively

• Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working in government or highly regulated environments

• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting to enhance IAM processes

• Familiarity with other access security technologies and emerging trends within identity management

Preferred Education and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field

• At least 3 years of experience in IAM solutions deployment and management, preferably within cloud environments

Other Requirements

• Willingness to undertake a National Police Check and security clearance process

• Ability to work in ACT, VIC, or NSW, with hybrid work arrangements in place

• Capacity to commit to a 12-month contract with potential for extension
