We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect / Technical SME to lead the design and delivery of complex infrastructure solutions across a major healthcare capital works program.
This is a senior, hands-on architecture role working across multiple concurrent projects, including new facilities, refurbishments, service implementations and future expansion planning.
You will provide technical leadership across a broad range of infrastructure domains, working closely with project teams, technical specialists, vendors, system integrators and senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient and well-integrated solutions.
The role
Reporting to the Digital Lead, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end infrastructure solution architectures.
- Provide architectural leadership across multiple complex projects and workstreams.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions align with enterprise standards, governance frameworks and program objectives.
- Identify and manage architectural risks, dependencies and integration issues.
- Work closely with infrastructure partners, vendors and system integrators.
- Produce clear architectural documentation, recommendations and technical advice.
- Translate complex technical requirements into practical business, operational and clinical outcomes.
- Support the delivery of scalable, sustainable and future-ready digital infrastructure.

- Server and storage platforms.

About you
To be successful, you will bring:
- Extensive experience delivering infrastructure architecture solutions within complex, enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong capability across multiple infrastructure domains.
- Proven experience integrating infrastructure, facilities, systems and third-party solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, ICT governance and assurance frameworks.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and risk-management skills.
- Experience delivering outcomes across multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- The ability to work effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to explain complex technical concepts to senior, operational and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience within healthcare, hospitals, major capital works, construction or complex facility environments will be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications in ICT, systems engineering, infrastructure or solution architecture are desirable.
