Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist – Acquisition & Sustainment

Canberra | NV2 Clearance Required | PV Preferred

Paxus is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist to support the acquisition and transition planning of a complex, mission-critical technology capability within a secure Commonwealth Government environment.

This is an opportunity to help shape how a significant new capability will be supported and sustained over its operational life, ensuring supportability requirements are considered from the outset rather than after implementation.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Working alongside engineering, acquisition and capability delivery teams, you'll develop the strategies, support concepts and technical documentation required to establish effective long-term sustainment arrangements.

The role combines practical ILS expertise with capability planning, logistics support analysis and stakeholder engagement, contributing to the successful transition of a complex technology capability into service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain Integrated Logistics Support strategies, plans and associated documentation.
  • Define support concepts, support system requirements and sustainment arrangements.
  • Undertake logistics support analysis and supportability assessments to inform capability planning.
  • Develop supportability inputs for acquisition, engineering and project documentation.
  • Contribute to transition planning, transition-to-service activities and operational support readiness.
  • Support workforce planning, training needs analysis and sustainment modelling.
  • Work closely with technical teams, capability stakeholders and industry partners to ensure supportability requirements are incorporated into project outcomes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Demonstrated experience delivering Integrated Logistics Support activities within complex technical or Government environments.
  • Strong understanding of ILS principles, sustainment planning and supportability analysis.
  • Experience developing support concepts, sustainment strategies and technical support documentation.
  • Experience contributing to capability acquisition, transition or sustainment activities.
  • Ability to analyse complex support requirements and translate them into practical sustainment solutions.
  • Strong technical documentation, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

  • Experience supporting major Commonwealth capability acquisition programs.
  • Familiarity with structured acquisition, transition-to-service and sustainment processes.
  • Experience preparing supportability inputs for Government approvals, acquisition documentation or transition planning.
  • Experience working with industry partners to establish long-term support and sustainment arrangements.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

Applicants must hold an active AGSVA NV2 security clearance as a minimum. Positive Vetting (PV) is highly desirable.

LOCATION

Canberra, ACT.
