Integration Architect – ICT

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Integration Architect to join a major ICT transformation initiative within the healthcare sector. This role offers the chance to contribute to the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with established architecture standards.

Working as part of a high-performing project team, you will play a key role in shaping integration architecture, enabling seamless connectivity across complex systems, and supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale digital transformation program.

This is a full-time contract opportunity for an initial 6-month term, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee enterprise integration solutions that are secure, scalable, and resilient.
• Develop integration architecture aligned with enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality integration outcomes.
• Ensure integration solutions comply with security, governance, and architecture standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the successful integration of multiple enterprise applications and platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Integration Architect or in a similar senior technical role within enterprise ICT environments.
• Strong understanding of system integration design, enterprise architecture, security protocols, and scalable solution design.
• Extensive experience with integration platforms, middleware, APIs, and related technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and standards.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Experience within healthcare or government ICT environments is highly regarded.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of healthcare systems or digital health transformation initiatives.
• Experience with business process modelling and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with cloud-based integration and cloud architecture.
• Industry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years' experience in enterprise integration architecture or similar roles supporting large-scale ICT projects.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Additional Information

• Availability to attend Brisbane during the first week of the engagement is required.
• Occasional travel to project sites may be necessary.

• A satisfactory criminal history check and other mandatory pre-employment screening will be required prior to commencement.
