INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT
An exciting contract opportunity is now available for an experienced Internal Communications Consultant to join a large Queensland based organisation located in Fortitude Valley.
This role will play a key part in supporting internal and change communications across operational and corporate teams, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality messaging aligned to strategic priorities.
THE ROLE
- Provide communications advice and support to senior leaders
- Develop and execute internal and change communication plans
- Create engaging written content across digital and traditional channels
- Support campaign delivery within established communication frameworks
- Contribute to reporting, insights and continuous improvement
- Assist with operational and emergency communications as required
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 3+ years’ experience in internal or employee communications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders
- Exposure to change or transformation communications
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Experience within utilities, infrastructure, government or operational environments will be highly regarded.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Initial contract through to 30 June 2026 plus possible extensions
- $60.24 per hour + super
- 38 hours per week
- Fortitude Valley location
- Hybrid working (1–2 days WFH depending on project requirements)
- ASAP start
