My client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and management of large-scale IP networks within a telecommunications environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support IP-based telecom networks
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues
- Implement and maintain network security policies and solutions
- Support network upgrades, maintenance, and optimisation activities
- Document network configurations, procedures, and standards
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with IP networking protocols including OSPF and BGP
- Experience designing telecom or mobile core network architectures
- Knowledge of ACI, EVPN-VXLAN, and data centre technologies
- Firewall and security experience with technologies such as Fortinet, F5, or Check Point
- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE highly regarded
