We are seeking an IT Asset and Data Analyst to support a large-scale asset reconciliation and deployment project following a major organisational merger. This is an initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension.

You will work closely with subject matter experts and vendors to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate data integrity and compliance across a complex enterprise environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Produce detailed asset reports, utilisation dashboards, and insights to support technology changes and executive decision-making .
  • Lifecycle Management: Track and update hardware and software asset records from procurement through to retirement within ServiceNow .
  • Reconciliation: Support large-scale asset reconciliation activities, identifying discrepancies and optimising asset records .
  • Compliance: Monitor software licensing entitlements, conduct reconciliation, and support vendor audits .
  • CMDB Maintenance: Maintain the Configuration Management Database, ensuring clear understanding of relationships between assets, services, and users .

Key Skills & Experience

  • ServiceNow Expertise: Proficiency in ServiceNow Asset & Configuration Management modules is essential .
  • Asset Management Principles: Strong understanding of ITAM and ITIL frameworks.
  • Technical Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and networking equipment .
  • Vendor Liaison: Experience managing procurement processes, purchase order tracking, and vendor communications .
  • Enterprise Experience: Previous experience in a medium-to-large organisation is desirable .

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Highly Desirable: IAITAM certifications such as CHAMP or CSAM.
  • Experience with Microsoft licensing and software compliance frameworks .
