About the Role-
We have partnered with a client in the Financial Services sector to bring on board a junior Business Systems Analyst with a strong foundation on API integration and data mapping and a passion for problem solving.
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support the delivery of high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
📘 Business Analysis & SDLC Activities
- Requirement Management – Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements
- Solution Documentation – Prepare process flows, BRDs, user stories, and functional specs
- Test Planning & Execution – Assist in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
- Defect Management – Identify, log, and coordinate issue resolution throughout testing cycles
⚙️ System Configuration & Technical Responsibilities
- System Setup and Customization
- Configure financial systems platforms
- Adjust system parameters to align with workflows
- Workflow Configuration
- Design and update workflow rules, user roles, and approval processes
- Automate actions like status changes, alerts, and escalations for loan/settlement stages
- User Access and Permissions
- Manage user roles and permissions based on job functions
- Ensure data security for sensitive mortgage and title information
- Third-Party Integrations
- Support API/system integrations with different platforms.
- Environment Configuration
- Assist with setup of UAT and production environments
- Ensure correct settings (e.g., endpoints, sandbox/live credentials)
- Issue Resolution & Updates
- Troubleshoot configuration issues (e.g., failed workflows, miscalculations)
- Apply patches or system updates and adjust affected components

🎓 Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Business, Information Systems, or Project Management(preferred)
