Lifecycle Services Senior Engineer
Level: Intermediate
Location: Melbourne OR Canberra OR Brisbane (Federal Government Client)
Eligibility: Australian Citizen (security clearance desirable)

We are seeking a Lifecycle Services Senior Engineer to support a Federal Government client, focusing on Tools Lifecycle Management and enterprise service operations. This role is responsible for transitioning operating models, improving environment management, and strengthening incident and service management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of the existing tools life cycle operating model with minimal disruption.

• Analyse current tools, workflows, and procedures to identify improvement opportunities.

• Oversee incident, problem, and request management, driving root cause analysis and long-term remediation.

• Define and implement an Environment Management Operating Model, including automation and best practices across development, test, staging, and production environments.

• Design, configure, and continuously improve Enterprise Service Management (ESM) tool components such as resolver groups, queues, forms, and categories.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams and provide training and operational support.

Required Skills & Experience

• Australian Citizenship (security clearance highly regarded).

• Experience in procurement, packaging, and distribution of enterprise tools.

• Strong knowledge of software packaging, licensing, compliance, and IT distribution methods.

• Hands-on experience with software management and ESM platforms.

Desirable

• AWS and/or Azure experience.

• Enterprise-scale software deployment experience.

• Ability to develop rapid prototypes or proof-of-concepts.
