M365 Security Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Microsoft 365 Security Support. This role is ideal for a consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 security technologies and a passion for helping organisations secure their digital environments.

As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft 365 security solutions, conducting assessments, and providing expert guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 security solutions including:
• Microsoft Defender for Office, Cloud Apps, and Endpoints
• Microsoft Purview (Compliance & Information Protection)
• Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery, Audit, and Records Management
• Conduct security assessments and gap analyses for Microsoft 365 environments.
• Develop and deliver technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define and implement security requirements.
• Support incident response and remediation efforts related to Microsoft 365 security.

• Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)

• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Insider Risk Management
• Communication Compliance
• Microsoft Sentinel (or other SIEM platforms)
• PowerShell (for scripting, automation, and reporting)
• Zero Trust Architecture

Eligibility Requirements

• Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
• Must hold a current NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance.
