MANAGERS SUPPORT OFFICER
We're partnering with a leading local government organisation to recruit an experienced Manager's Support Officer to provide high level executive and administrative support to a Branch Manager and leadership team based in Logan, QLD.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, coordinating competing priorities and acting as the central point of contact for a busy leadership team.
THE ROLE
As the Manager's Support Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Branch through high level administration, coordination and leadership support. You'll be responsible for managing executive diaries, coordinating reports and meetings, overseeing branch administration processes and supporting a range of business improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage complex calendars, correspondence and executive administration.
- Coordinate Branch reports, committee papers and leadership meeting actions.
- Prepare briefing papers, meeting agendas and minutes.
- Support recruitment activities, organisational structures and workforce administration.
- Coordinate administrative resources to meet business needs.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with branch projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to administrative support staff where required.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience providing senior executive or management support within a complex organisation.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Experience coordinating meetings, reports and business documentation.
- Confidence building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
