About the Role

We are partnering with a large and highly regarded organisation to appoint an experienced Master Scheduler to support a complex, enterprise-wide transformation program.

This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining the portfolio-wide schedule, managing interdependencies across multiple workstreams and vendors, and producing accurate reporting for governance and decision-making forums. Working closely with the EPMO, strategic transformation leaders, and delivery teams, this position will play a key role in keeping the program aligned, visible, and on track.

This is an excellent opportunity for a scheduling professional who thrives in large, fast-moving environments and can bring structure, transparency, and control to complex program delivery.

What we are looking for

You will be a highly organised and commercially aware scheduling professional who can bring clarity to a complex delivery environment. You will be confident working across multiple stakeholders, able to balance detail with big-picture thinking, and comfortable operating in a program setting where priorities can shift quickly.

Key responsibilities

Schedule management

  • Develop and maintain an integrated program-wide schedule across multiple workstreams and releases
  • Ensure alignment between individual project schedules and the broader program timeline
  • Regularly track, update, and communicate schedule changes to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain schedule quality, consistency, and accuracy across the portfolio

Dependency management

  • Manage a program-wide dependency register covering internal teams, vendors, and delivery partners
  • Identify risks, blockers, conflicts, and sequencing issues early
  • Escalate critical impacts appropriately and support timely resolution
  • Work closely with delivery teams to manage cross-functional dependencies effectively

Reporting and governance

  • Produce clear and accurate schedule and dependency reporting for governance forums and steering committees
  • Support governance processes by ensuring schedule integrity, transparency, and traceability
  • Use portfolio and reporting tools to monitor progress, produce insights, and maintain documentation
  • Contribute to strong program controls and decision support

Stakeholder engagement

  • Partner with portfolio and project teams to validate timelines, milestones, and dependencies
  • Work collaboratively with project directors, project managers, change managers, and business leaders
  • Provide structured, reliable communication that supports planning, visibility, and informed decision-making
  • Build trusted working relationships across a broad stakeholder group

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in program scheduling and dependency management within large-scale enterprise transformation environments
  • Strong proficiency with scheduling and portfolio tools, including PPM tools and reporting dashboards such as Power BI
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, resolve conflicts, and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Experience supporting governance reporting and executive-level visibility
  • Strong understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with risk management and governance frameworks
  • Experience in public safety, government, or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded
