NET Architect (Contract) - Baseline Clearance Required
.NET Architect required for a contract role through to May 2027, with strong extension potential.
Location:
Melbourne or Canberra (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Requirement:
Baseline Security Clearance (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build enterprise applications using .NET / .NET Core
- Develop microservices and REST APIs
- Work across Azure services (App Services, Functions, SQL, Service Bus)
- Implement secure, scalable backend solutions
- Design and optimise databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and cloud deployments
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers
- Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and security issues
Key Skills:
- 5+ years in C# and .NET / .NET Core
- Strong Azure and cloud-native development experience
- Microservices and API integration expertise
- Solid database and backend system knowledge
- Understanding of security (OAuth, JWT, encryption)
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices
