Network Engineer
📍 Darwin CBD – 5 days onsite (Mon–Fri)
🕒 12-Month Contract (likely extension)
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage and support critical on-site network infrastructure in a high-availability operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure supporting operational systems, IoT devices, and communications.

Implement and monitor network security controls to ensure compliance and protection against vulnerabilities.

Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and redundancy solutions.
-
Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting.

Coordinate with vendors for hardware, licensing, and specialised services.

Promote and adhere to strong safety and compliance standards.
About You:
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in network engineering (resources or operational environments highly regarded).

CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certifications.
-
ITIL v4 Foundation certification (minimum).
-
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, SD-WAN, IoT integration, and cybersecurity best practices.

Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
