Network Operations Support Coordinator

• Initial 6 months contract
• Based in Perth CBD
• knowledge or Understanding of Transport and Urban Planning

Our government client is seeking a Network Operations Support coordinator with experience in road traffic and safety.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide traffic engineering support and advice on traffic management, network operations planning and road safety matters related to policy work.
• Investigate and gather literature related to traffic management guides and network operations planning and assist with development of solutions for further consideration and assessment by a range of internal and external stakeholders, related to policy work.
• Provide technical support and project management for the development and review, of policies and guidelines (new and existing) related to Road Network Operations (includes all road users).
• Collate and manage data to identify gaps in policies and guidelines for network operations to recommend updates and development of policies and guidelines for traffic management such as transport modes and mobility.
• Facilitate the strategic management of stakeholders, in a collaborative approach and foster productive relationships.

Required Skills:

• Experience or knowledge or Understanding of Transport and Urban Planning
• Experience or knowledge or Understanding of Traffic Engineering principles & practices
• Sound skill, knowledge, and experience in the use of computer tools including systems and technical data for analysis

Desirable :

• Engineering background and knowledge of Road Design & Road Safety
• A diploma in Engineering, or Computer Systems, or other relevant discipline
