Our mining client is seeking an OT Cyber Specialist for an initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension. You'll be establishing and maturing the organisation’s OT cyber security capability.
This is not a purely technical role. It requires a senior-level professional with a strong understanding of OT environments, operational processes, and cyber security frameworks, capable of building sustainable operating models and response playbooks.
What You'll be Doing:
- Support OT asset validation within the recently commissioned Claroty OT visibility platform
- Develop and mature OT cyber security processes and embed them into existing operational teams
- Build OT cyber maturity uplift initiatives
- Develop OT security threat use cases
- Design and refine alerting and response workflows
- Integrate OT alerts into existing SIEM platforms (e.g. Splunk, Sentinel)
- Create operational playbooks and response procedures
- Define ownership models for OT incident response (who responds, when, and how)
- Work closely with OT, cyber, and process control teams to establish repeatable processes and documentation
- Contribute to the design of a long-term OT cyber operating model
You Must Have:
- Claroty OT security platform experience
- Worked in PLC environments
- Rockwell automation stack
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel)
