Power BI Developer – Contract

📍 Canberra or Melbourne (Hybrid)

We’re seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to deliver high-quality BI solutions in a large, complex environment. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to turn data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Power BI dashboards, reports, and paginated reports

• Build optimised data models and advanced DAX measures

• Develop ETL solutions using Power Query and Dataflows

• Integrate data from SQL, cloud platforms, APIs, and Excel

• Implement RLS, manage security, and optimise performance

• Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service

Required Experience

• 5–8+ years’ experience in Power BI / BI development

• Strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling skills

• Solid SQL and relational database experience

• Proven stakeholder engagement and end-to-end delivery

• Experience working in agile environments

Desirable

• Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL, ADLS)

• CI/CD, deployment pipelines, version control

• Other BI tools (Tableau, SSRS)
