Our Federal Government client has come to market for a Principal IRAP Assessor / Cyber Security Specialist.
- 12 months initial contract duration
- 1 extension option of 12 months

A Principal Senior IRAP Assessor / Cyber Security Specialist, with cyber security and training expertise to deliver a new assessment framework and training course to support our client's new guideline.
These packages will support major Commonwealth stakeholders in effectively meeting their policy responsibilities for managing their cyber maturity.
Candidates must have an active NV1 Security Clearance as our client will not sponsor candidates to upgrade their security clearances in order to apply for the role.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise and deliver our client's Assessment Process Guide in line with the new guidance being developed.
- Provide subject matter and technical expertise to support consultative forums and inform change management and communications across the department and IRAP assessor community and other key stakeholders across Whole of Government.
- Designing and delivering a Whole of Government cyber maturity and risk intelligence function.
- Provide support and advice to other departments and other related agencies.
- Provide quality assurance of IRAP assessment reports, and other key IRAP artefacts, as required.
Criteria
Each candidate must provide a response to each criterion. Each response is limited to 3000 characters
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated 3 years’ or more experience in the delivery of complex cyber security policy, security guidance or cybersecurity training, and security assessments on behalf of a National Intelligence Community agency or other Cybersecurity organisation.
- Demonstrated 2 years’ or more experience in ICT security assessments.
- Demonstrated understanding of the role of an IRAP Assessor and relevant security policies and frameworks.
- Proven capability and capacity to provide the Services as described in the key duties and responsibilities.
Desirable Criteria
- Bachelor or postgraduate qualifications in Cyber Security or ICT.
- Other relevant industry recognised cyber security certifications.
- Experience in the development or delivery of Australian national-level cyber security training programs.
