We are seeking 2 highly experienced Principal Project Managers to lead the delivery of major cyber security initiatives within a large and complex enterprise environment.

These roles are ideal for senior project delivery professionals with strong experience across cyber security, enterprise ICT transformation, and identity and access management. A key focus of the program is the delivery of multi factor authentication initiatives, so experience in this space will be highly regarded.

You will be responsible for driving complex projects through to successful delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality expectations. This is a high impact role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, governance discipline, and the ability to operate confidently across both technical and executive environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of one or more large scale cyber security initiatives from planning through to execution
    • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting
    • Ensure projects are delivered in line with established project management methodologies, frameworks, and governance standards
    • Prepare high quality briefs, status reports, presentations, submissions, and executive-ready documentation
    • Provide strategic advice and input across project deliverables to ensure alignment with quality standards, architecture, and organisational priorities
    • Build strong relationships across technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior decision-makers
    • Lead, guide, and support multidisciplinary project teams throughout the full project lifecycle
    • Monitor project performance and provide clear visibility of progress, risks, issues, and outcomes

About you

You are a credible and experienced project leader with a proven track record delivering complex ICT or cyber security programs in large enterprise environments. You know how to bring structure to complexity, keep stakeholders aligned, and maintain delivery momentum across critical initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering large and complex ICT or cyber security projects
    • Strong knowledge of formal project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or equivalent
    • Proven ability to manage project plans, budgets, governance, reporting, and delivery outcomes
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise executive documentation
    • Strong stakeholder engagement, consultation, negotiation, and influencing capability
    • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across business and technical streams

Highly regarded experience

  • Delivery of multi factor authentication projects in large enterprise environments
    • Experience with technologies such as RSA SecurID, Microsoft Entra ID, or similar identity and access solutions
    • Strong understanding of identity and access management, directory services, and cyber security uplift initiatives
    • Experience delivering programs focused on identity security, security foundations, compliance, and maturity uplift
    • Experience working in large, federated, or highly regulated environments
    • Exposure to healthcare or other operationally complex environments will be advantageous

Working arrangements

This role is expected to be delivered on a full time basis on site in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, generally 5 days per week, unless otherwise agreed.
