In this role you will join a busy WA Government team and make an immediate impact! We’re looking for a Procurement Officer to tackle a high-volume backlog of ICT software licensing and maintenance, while enabling the wider team to focus on strategic projects.
Your responsibilities and day to day tasks:
- Lead end-to-end procurement of ICT software licenses, goods, and services
- Prepare and manage Request for Tender documentation
- Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders on ICT procurement best practices
- Ensure compliance with WA procurement laws, regulations, and policies
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across the business
What you'll need to be able to demonstrate:
- Solid experience in ICT procurement (goods & services)
- Ideally strong knowledge of WA Government procurement frameworks
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to deliver under pressure with accuracy and professionalism
