Help shape the future of AI in the public sector. We’re seeking an experienced Product Owner – Artificial Intelligence to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered products that deliver real value to the community.
In this role, you’ll define the vision for AI solutions, prioritise features, and ensure the delivery of user-focused, impactful products. You’ll work closely with AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps Engineers, acting as the bridge between technical teams, policy makers, and end-users. Your work will drive innovation while ensuring ethical, transparent, and responsible AI implementation.
Mandatory Requirements:

Proven experience in product management, delivering products from ideation to launch and iteration.

Solid understanding of AI/ML capabilities and limitations.

Strong focus on user experience and delivering intuitive, impactful solutions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

Ability to define and measure both business value and societal outcomes.

Experience in agile delivery environments.

Demonstrated ability to turn complex public sector challenges into actionable AI initiatives.

Passion for public service and ethical AI development.

Relevant formal qualifications in technology, product management, or related disciplines.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Criminal History Check (and other clearances as required).
