A large enterprise organisation within the retail and distribution sector is undertaking a major pricing transformation program to improve commercial performance, consistency, and operational efficiency. The Pricing Product Owner will translate pricing strategy into a prioritised delivery backlog, validating pricing logic and data, supporting go-live readiness, and ensuring the solution is embedded and sustainable.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and translate business requirements into user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria
- Define and validate pricing data requirements, supporting accurate and traceable outcomes
- Own business UAT, scenario design, and defect triage
- Support go-live readiness, adoption, and transition to a BAU product operating model
- Collaborate across business and technology teams to ensure delivery aligns with strategy
Requirements
- Experienced in pricing and established product owner with 7+ years’ experience across product ownership, product analysis and/or business analysis
- Experience delivering data-enabled products in complex, cross-functional environments
- Strong discovery, requirements gathering, and stakeholder facilitation skills
- Hands-on data analysis to support pricing validation and decision-making
- Practical experience with SAP pricing processes
- Experience with enterprise systems and vendor-delivered solutions
Desirable
- Experience in pricing, revenue, or margin optimisation
- Knowledge of SAP pricing concepts (condition records, pricing procedures, governance)
- Exposure to large-scale transformation or optimisation programs
