We’re seeking a Program Finance Controller to play a key role in ensuring strong financial governance, transparency, and control across this high-profile program.
The Role
Reporting into the Program Integration Office, you will take ownership of end-to-end financial governance, forecasting, and reporting across a complex ERP program.
This is a hands-on role requiring precision, commercial acumen, and strong stakeholder engagement across a fast-paced delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead program-wide financial forecasting across multiple project streams and delivery phases

Own vendor financial management, including invoice validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution

Manage purchase order lifecycle and ensure alignment with procurement and financial controls

Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end, governance packs, and executive insights
-
Partner with project and program leaders to set, track, and optimise budgets and forecasts
-
Provide financial input into change requests, vendor variations, and commercial decisions
-
Drive consistency in financial governance, reporting standards, and portfolio-level insights
-
Act as a trusted advisor in program governance forums, influencing financial decision-making
What You Bring
-
5+ years’ experience in program/project finance, commercial management, or financial control —ideally within large technology or ERP programs
-
Proven experience managing systems integrators and technology vendors in complex delivery environments
-
Strong expertise in financial forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting across large portfolios
-
Demonstrated ability to challenge vendor costs and manage commercial risks
-
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at program and executive level
-
High attention to detail with the ability to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Highly Regarded

Experience with SAP or large-scale ERP transformations
-
Background in government or large enterprise programs
-
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)

Power BI reporting capability
-
CPA / CA or equivalent qualification
