Project Lead (Contract Role)
Location:
Brisbane (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Duration:
Initial 6-month contract (likely extension)
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead with a strong background in the mining industry to support ongoing project delivery. This role is heavily focused on stakeholder engagement and coordination, rather than people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project delivery across key initiatives
- Engage and manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams
- Oversee risk assessment, mitigation, and reporting
- Manage project budgets, financials, and forecasting
- Coordinate resources and contractor activities
- Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Lead within the mining sector (must-have)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in financial and budget management
- Ability to manage risks, forecasting, and project reporting
- Experience working with contractors and cross-functional teams
Important Notes:
- This role does not involve people management
- Strong emphasis on stakeholder management and project coordination
- Candidates must have prior mining industry experience
