PROJECT MANAGER - ASSET MANAGEMENT TRANSFORMATION
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major transformation initiatives within an Asset Management environment for a Local QLD Government Department.
This role will drive organisation wide improvements across asset management practices, including ISO55000:2024 certification, data enrichment, and digital transformation projects. A key focus will be leading change that impacts people, processes, and culture across the organisation.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders and SMEs to deliver strategic outcomes and uplift organisational capability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead delivery of complex, enterprise-level transformation projects
- Drive the development and implementation of ISO55000:2024 certification frameworks
- Oversee asset management uplift initiatives, including data enrichment and digital thread programs
- Engage, influence, and collaborate with senior executives and subject matter experts
- Lead organisational change initiatives impacting people, process, and culture
- Establish strong project governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks
- Manage project risks, timelines, budgets, and resources
- Deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to strategic objectives
IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are a senior level Project Manager with a strong background in asset management and transformation delivery.
You will bring:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale asset management improvement initiatives
- Strong capability in driving organisational change (people, process, and culture)
- Experience working closely with executive stakeholders and senior SMEs
- Demonstrated ability to influence, lead, and deliver in complex environments
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
