Project Manager – Control Systems

Contract: 6 Months (Likely Extension)
Location: Brisbane, QLD
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager – Control Systems to lead the delivery of technology and operational technology (OT) projects within a large industrial environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in control systems, stakeholder management, and delivering complex technical projects from initiation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across the full project lifecycle.
• Define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and delivery strategies.
• Manage project risks, issues, governance, reporting, and financials.
• Engage with business stakeholders, technical SMEs, vendors, and project teams.
• Oversee procurement, contract management, and resource planning.
• Drive change management, technical change, release, and transition activities.
• Lead project governance, stage gates, and funding approvals.
• Manage and mentor a small project team.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing Operational Technology (OT) and Control Systems projects.
• Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Safety Systems.
• Previous experience within mining, industrial, or electrical environments is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Relevant tertiary qualification.
