PROJECT MANAGER - DARWIN, NORTHERN TERRITORY
A significant opportunity for a Project Manager has arisen within a high profile government digital transformation program. This initial 6 month contract offers an impactful role supporting community safety initiatives with a possibility of extension. Hybrid/remote working arrangements with some NT travel required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coordinate, and deliver assigned digital transformation projects on behalf of the Northern Territory Police Force.
- Manage project teams, risks, governance, and stakeholder engagement ensuring delivery on time, scope, and quality.
- Drive adoption and integration of new systems, processes, and ways of working into operational environments.
- Provide clear communication and advice to senior management and diverse stakeholders.
- Support change management, training, and user adoption throughout project lifecycles.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project or operational delivery roles involving organisational or technology-enabled change.
- Proven ability in planning, managing risks, and delivering projects in complex, high-risk environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in change management and benefits realisation.
- Familiarity with IT service management, digital transformation frameworks, and project collaboration tools preferred.
