Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Technology/ ICT Recruitment Consultant to join our Adelaide team. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the dynamic recruitment industry, specializing in IT and white-collar placements. As a recruitment consultant at Paxus, you will own end-to-end candidate management and the recruitment process, and be the consultative advisor to the candidates in the Adelaide market, forging long-term, authentic relationships. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our clients and candidates, reflecting our mission to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Relationship Management

• Build and nurture trusted, long term relationships with candidates – understanding their needs and values, aligning them to the needs and values of our clients.
• Become a trusted advisor, helping candidates navigate career opportunities and industry trends.
• Engage with candidates proactively, providing guidance and regular updates throughout the hiring process.

Recruitment Delivery

• Partner closely with Sales and BD function to develop a deep understanding of client requirements, team dynamics, and hiring priorities
• Proactively source, engage, and assess candidates to ensure strong alignment across skills, experience, and cultural fit
• Build and maintain robust talent pipelines, leveraging both active and passive sourcing strategies
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience while balancing speed and delivery outcomes
• Maintain consistent and transparent communication with candidates, providing timely updates and feedback throughout the hiring journey
• Support continuous improvement of recruitment practices, ensuring an efficient, professional, and candidate-centric approach

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in ICT recruitment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and best practices.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed in a competitive industry.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong candidate engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
• Strong proficiency in recruitment CRM systems and sourcing tools.
• Demonstrated experience proactively engaging with the market to develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
