Are you a senior SAP developer who thrives in complex, enterprise-scale environments? We are partnering with a major Queensland government program seeking an experienced SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer to play a critical build-focused role within a large-scale S/4HANA landscape
In this role, your main focus will be to design, develop and deploy SAP Fiori/UI5 applications within an S/4HANA environment, working to stringent public sector development standards. This role sits within a collaborative delivery team alongside architects, functional consultants and senior technical leads.
This is not a support or configuration-only role — it is a true build position requiring proven development capability across the full SAP stack.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building SAP Fiori applications and custom UI5 components
- Extending standard SAP functionality using clean core principles
- Developing backend services and integration components
- Producing high-quality technical specifications and documentation
- Conducting peer code reviews and ensuring quality assurance standards
- Managing controlled transport and migration across Dev/Test/Prod
- Contributing to service improvement and development process uplift
- Operating within strict governance, compliance and public sector standards
Skills required:
- SAP Fiori configuration, development and extensions
- SAPUI5
- SAP BTP
- ABAP (strong backend capability expected)
- SAP Web IDE / Fiori tools
- JavaScript and HTML5
- Smartforms
- Integration & extension objects (BADI, BAPI, IDOC, BOPF)
