SAP Basis Consultant – OpenText Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Basis Consultant with OpenText expertise to join a high-performing team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in complex environments and brings proven capability in delivering end-to-end SAP OpenText solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and deployment of OpenText xECM for SAP solutions

• Configure, troubleshoot, and administer OpenText xECM solution sets, including Content Server, Directory Services, Web Services, and Archive Centre using OpenText System Centre

• Execute system maintenance including upgrades, patch management, performance tuning, and security administration

• Ensure optimal system performance with effective monitoring, backup, and recovery procedures

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver client-focused solutions that add measurable business value

Mandatory Requirements

• Australian citizenship

• AGSVA NV1 security clearance, or Baseline clearance with eligibility to upgrade to NV1

• Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience as an OpenText xECM Consultant

• Proven background in SAP Extended ECM by OpenText, from design through to go-live

• Hands-on expertise in setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrading of OpenText xECM solution sets

• Deep knowledge of system administration practices, including content management, security, monitoring, and recovery

Desired Attributes

• OpenText and/or SAP certifications

• Track record of success in delivering complex SAP projects

• Strong problem-solving ability with strategic and tactical thinking skills

• Proactive mindset with a drive to build networks in the SAP community
