Senior Business Analyst – SAP S/4HANA (EPPM) | Government ERP Transformation
Contract | 12+ Months | Hybrid | Brisbane
We’re seeking an exceptional Senior/Principal Business Analyst to support a large-scale ERP transformation program within a leading Government Organization. We’re looking for someone with strategic thinking, deep ERP experience, and strong process governance skills.
You’ll play a pivotal role in helping the organisation transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, with a focus on EPPM and its integration with core modules like FICO and MM. The ideal candidate brings a track record of success in complex ERP projects and a mindset that goes beyond requirements gathering — someone who challenges assumptions, drives process improvement, and ensures alignment to ERP best practices.
Key Requirement for the role:
ERP & SAP Expertise
-
10+ years delivering ERP solutions, ideally across large-scale SAP transformations
-
Deep S/4HANA EPPM functional knowledge, with strong familiarity in ECC, FICO, MM, and module integration
-
Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology and end-to-end delivery cycles
Business Analysis Leadership
-
Expert-level skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and traceability using structured BA frameworks
-
Strong process modelling and design(BPMN, UML or similar), with a focus on aligning to ERP templates — not just capturing “as-is”
-
High-quality governance deliverables: business cases, decision logs, requirement matrices, etc.
-
Data-savvy: comfortable with analysis, reporting, and data migration support
Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery
-
Influential and confident communicator, able to challenge deviations, manage competing priorities, and keep alignment to the business strategy
-
Strong UAT/test support capabilities — developing test cases, coordinating defect triage, and driving user sign-off
-
Proven experience working across vendor, business, and technical teams
-
High EQ with the ability to work in hybrid, cross-functional teams
Desirable
-
Prior experience working on government programs is a plus
