Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced SAP Fiori Software Engineer to join their team. This is a 5 month contract with 2x6 months extension option. This role is based in Canberra and would be open to Australian citizens with an active Baseline security clearance.

This role requires strong expertise in SAP Fiori architecture, UI/UX design, and HTML5, alongside extensive experience in SAP development environments. The SAP Fiori Software Engineer position offers a motivated individual the chance to work on high-impact projects, both independently and within a collaborative team.

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate must:

• Architect, design, develop, and support of Fiori/UI5 applications across S/4 HANA and ECC environments.
• Support the SAP Fiori architecture and related applications within the department’s SAP landscape.
• Conduct Scenario UX workshops and translate business goals into optimised solutions.
• Develop and maintain solution integration plans for ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ process models.
• Create blueprint designs documents and implement Fiori solutions as per the blueprint, including Launchpad configuration and the extension of standard applications.
• Develop proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed technical solutions.
• Identify process improvements and provide clear and concise solution definitions.

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate must have:

• Over 10 years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Strong development skills in SAPUI5, SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, Neo, HTML5, REST and OData Protocols.
• Extensive experience in JavaScript and CSS to support multi-browser compatibility.
• Expertise in implementing standard Fiori applications, including setting up Catalogues, Groups and role assignments.
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Gateway Framework with the ability to integrate and troubleshoot backend OData services.
• UI/UX design experience, particularly with SAPUI5 theme designer.
• Proven ability to manage and foster a team-oriented environment while providing technology consulting expertise.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
• Experience working on the Parliamentary Expense Management System (PEMS).
• Public sector experience.
• Experience with ABAP and Java programming.
