Our client is seeking an experienced SAP HANA Data Modeller
to provide both technical and strategic leadership within the Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
This role requires hands-on expertise in SAP HANA 2.0, strong design and optimisation skills, and the ability to mentor colleagues while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in business and system workshops to capture requirements and validate use cases.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse platform and solution architecture.
- Analyse ELT requirements and design complex data models (dimensional, 3NF, Data Vault).
- Build and maintain metadata management processes and data quality algorithms.
- Develop and support staging, transformation, and consumption layers in SAP HANA.
- Collaborate with BI analysts and build secure APIs for reporting and analytics.
- Deliver UI-ready data models that meet business needs.
- Perform testing, manage defects, and support deployment of solutions.
- Maintain workflow schedules, monitor performance, and manage incidents.
- Provide reports, briefing notes, and technical advice to senior stakeholders on complex data issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong/proven technical expertise in SAP HANA 2.0(calculation views, table functions, procedures, CDS).
- Proven experience designing and optimising data models in relational databases.
- Advanced SQL and data warehouse query skills.
- Experience with end-to-end data pipelines(on-premise or cloud).
- Hands-on with SAP HANA Smart Data Integrator (SDI) and Smart Data Quality (SDQ).
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI for modelling and visualisation.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA security (roles, privileges, data masking, anonymisation).
- Experience with conceptual, logical, and dimensional modelling.
- Strong understanding of relational database principles and optimisation.
Bonus Skills
- SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
- Microsoft Synapse Analytics or Data Lakehouse environments.
- SAP Certification in data modelling or analytics.
