Role Overview
We are seeking a senior SAP HCM Lead ABAP Developer to take technical ownership of custom code remediation and optimisation for a large-scale ECC6 to S/4HANA conversion within a mission-critical payroll environment.
This is a hands-on technical lead role in a high-compliance enterprise program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ABAP remediation for ECC6 to S/4HANA
- Apply Clean Core and low-code principles
- Own code quality, performance, and governance
- Optimise ABAP for HANA performance
- Provide leadership across:
- SAP HCM Payroll
- Time & Attendance
- Personnel Administration
- HR to FI/CO integration
- Support ESS/MSS, Fiori and Workflow
- Provide production support during critical payroll periods
Essential Experience
- 7–10+ years SAP ABAP development
- Strong SAP HCM focus
- Proven S/4HANA conversion delivery
- Clean Core development mindset
- Large enterprise or government environments
- Brisbane onsite availability -CBD
