We’re seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Operational Procurement & Inventory Management (OPIM) Functional Expert to play a key role in designing and delivering end-to-end solutions within a complex, high-impact environment.

About the Role

As the S/4HANA OPIM Functional Expert, you will work within a specialist delivery team to design, configure, and implement procurement and inventory management solutions aligned to a new operating model.

This is a hands-on functional role spanning the full SAP lifecycle—from solution design through to go-live and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) solutions
• Deliver end-to-end OPIM processes, including:
  • Inventory replenishment
  • Inventory control
  • Reverse logistics
• Design and develop WRICEF objects aligned to business requirements
• Define and manage SAP master data structures(materials, business partners, purchasing records, etc.)
• Ensure seamless integration with:
  • EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
  • SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
  • SAP BTP and external systems
• Collaborate with solution architecture to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
• Produce high-quality documentation (functional specs, process flows, test scripts)
• Support all testing phases (SIT, UAT, performance, cutover)
• Contribute to cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare
• Troubleshoot and resolve post-implementation issues
• Engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technical teams

About You

You are a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with strong expertise in procurement and inventory management.

Essential:

• Minimum 5+ years SAP S/4HANA MM experience
• Proven experience delivering greenfield implementations and/or complex production environments
• Strong capability in custom solution design (beyond standard templates)
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions
• Experience across the full SAP lifecycle

Highly desirable:

• SAP S/4HANA MM certification
• Experience integrating with EWM, SD, FI/CO, BTP
• Experience in highly regulated or complex operational environments
