Exciting Opportunity: Scrum Master

What You’ll Do:
As our Scrum Master, you will provide expert Agile and Scrum guidance across teams and the organisation, facilitating the adoption of best practices. You will work closely with management to manage work streams, boost team performance, and enhance project delivery. Your support will extend to planning and prioritising work at both portfolio and programme levels, whilst working with stakeholders to embed Agile principles.
The role will run for six (6) months with a view for extension and the work setup will be hybrid.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software applications development environment, ideally in a DevOps setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and inspire confidently
- Strong facilitation, continuous improvement, and servant leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Proven influence and negotiation skills, leading through collaboration rather than authority
- Knowledge of Agile approaches such as Kanban, Scrum, and XP
- Familiarity with Agile techniques including Automated Testing, User Stories, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Pair Programming
- Ability to independently solve problems and think creatively within large and complex organisations
Nice to Have:
- Experience leading organisational scale Agile transformations
- Up-to-date knowledge of software related IT trends
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or Business
- Significant hands-on experience in Agile project management and team facilitation
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work within a flexible environment that supports innovation and agile growth
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent are advantageous
