We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Architect / Security Engineer to join our team and help safeguard our internal programs and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, implement, and maintain robust security controls while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure secure and resilient systems.
Key Responsibilities

Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand program requirements and security needs.

Design and configure cloud and on-premise components to align with recognized security baselines and best practices.

Implement and maintain security controls to protect internal programs from cyber threats.
-
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
-
Develop processes for monitoring security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
-
Collaborate with other security team members to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
-
Provide guidance and support to development teams to ensure secure design and implementation of internal programs.
-
Stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies, recommending innovative approaches to enhance security posture.

Document security configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure accessibility and clarity for relevant stakeholders.
Essential Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in security, with a focus on architecture or engineering.

At least 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following domains:
-
Configuring cloud components to align with recognized security baselines.
-
Applying security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS, SACSF, ISM).
-
Using security assessment tools, interpreting penetration testing results.
-
Security architecture design and translating business requirements into security solutions.
-

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security risks effectively.
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills
-
Knowledge of and experience applying SA CSF, Essential 8, ISM frameworks.
-
Hands-on deployment and configuration of security tools such as IAM, EDR, SIEM, and firewalls.

Expertise in secure configuration, testing, and operational troubleshooting.
