Our client is seeking an experienced Security Consultant with deep Defence networking and security accreditation expertise to support the design, governance, and assurance of a critical integration project.

Key Responsibilities

Security Architecture & Design

• Define and guide implementation of security requirements

• Provide security evaluations of integration demands against platform architecture and capabilities.

• Advise stakeholders on security issues, risks, and design decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Security Artefact Development

• Develop and deliver a suite of accreditation documentation, including:

  • System Security Plan (SSP)

  • Security Risk Management Plan (SRMP)

  • Security Authorisation Plan (SAP)

  • BIL Assessment, IRP, SCCG, CMP, POAM

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure their documentation aligns within the overall accreditation package.

Accreditation & Governance

• Facilitate engagement with Certification and Accreditation Boards (DCIAB).

• Ensure compliance with PSPF, ISM, and IRAP requirements for PROTECTED systems.

• Contribute to governance processes and emerging ICT security standards.

Platform Operating Model & Security Posture

• Support the design and implementation of a platform operating model embedding security into day-to-day operations.

• Help define standards and practices to maintain a robust ICT security posture.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive Defence ICT security and networking experience.

• Strong background in system security architecture, accreditation, and documentation.

• Proven experience working within PSPF, ISM, IRAP, and Defence accreditation frameworks.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and governance experience in complex Defence environments.

• NV1 (minimum) security clearance required.
