This is not a general cyber security position. You will need demonstrated, hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA application security solutions within complex enterprise environments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of SAP application security authorisations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to senior security consultants and wider project teams.
  • Analyse and resolve complex S/4HANA application security issues.
  • Design, build, test and document SAP security roles, authorisations and supporting processes.
  • Define and implement application security controls, policies and procedures.
  • Support security role implementation and ongoing role maintenance.
  • Identify, assess and remediate potential Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts.
  • Provide expert advice to management on security risks, issues and initiatives.
  • Support audits, compliance activities and security incident investigations.
  • Work closely with architects, developers, testers, functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Lead knowledge-transfer and handover activities to build internal capability.

About you

You will bring:

  • Extensive experience designing, implementing and maintaining SAP S/4HANA application security authorisations.
  • Strong experience building and managing security solutions within complex SAP environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control.
  • Experience with SAP BTP security, including CIS, IAS and IPS.
  • Strong knowledge of security role design, access controls and Segregation of Duties.
  • Proven experience providing specialist technical advice across SAP security support and project delivery.
  • The ability to lead, mentor and support other technical team members.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A relevant tertiary qualification or industry certification would be well regarded but is not mandatory.
