Security Specialist – Operations | Brisbane
We’re seeking a Security Specialist – Operations to join a high-performing Information Security team within a large and complex organisation.
This is a hands-on role focused on security monitoring, incident detection and response, and maintaining security controls.
Key skills:
- Security Operations / SOC experience
- Microsoft Defender and SIEM – Splunk and/or Sentinel
- Cloud and network security
- EDR/XDR, firewalls and IDS/IPS
- IAM, PAM and vulnerability management
- Threat hunting and security incident response
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001 and NIST
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call support when rostered
You’ll be responsible for monitoring and investigating security events, supporting incident response, identifying security control improvements and contributing to the ongoing uplift of security operations.
